Lake before language
Cold water, a wool robe and coffee waiting by the stove.
Private retreat · Molėtai, Lithuania
Two bedrooms, a wood-fired sauna and the edge of the lake to yourself.

The house
TYLA is imagined as a private house rather than a hotel, set among Molėtai’s glacial lakes. Timber, granite and linen hold the landscape close.
Wake when the room turns silver. Walk out through birch and pine. Swim before breakfast, then let the stove burn down while the lake disappears into evening.

Inside
Every room faces water or trees. The palette comes from the site: smoked oak, wool, granite and hand-finished lime plaster.
A day at TYLA
Cold water, a wool robe and coffee waiting by the stove.
A path leaves the house and returns when the forest is ready.
The sauna faces west. The last swim belongs to dusk.
The ritual
Heat builds slowly in a black-timber room at the shoreline. Outside, the granite step holds the day’s last warmth.
